St. Francis School

Pastoral Care is embedded in the school curriculum. It is part of the perceived curriculum, delivered in the enacted curriculum and experienced by all the school community in the hidden curriculum. Pastoral care involves encouraging the students in their quest for identity, enabling them to articulate their thoughts and emotions. It helps them to build relationships, empowering them and providing a safe place for them as they search for identity. It encourages them to search for values and make commitments.
The school staff is a caring presence in the lives of the students.
